Behind the Muse

A Letter From the Muse

I’m Angela.

If you’ve stumbled onto this page, you’re stepping straight into the static of my mind. By day, I pull strings in the digital architecture of code and codebases, but The Reflective Muse is where the wires cross, the lights dim, and the real, unfiltered creation begins.

For a long time, my pieces have been scattered like ghosts across the internet. I built this space to drag them all home under one roof, to watch them bleed into one another and finally show the sheer weight of what lives in my head. I don’t believe in staying in a polite lane, and I don't compromise with lazy, automated shortcuts. Everything here is born of human friction, independent intention, and bare hands.

When you look at the grid on the homepage, you are looking at different chambers of the same heart:

First, there is the visual wreckage under Angela Bella Morte and my alternative artwear brand, House of Spook. This is where I distort high-contrast gothic illustration and soon will shape wearable armor out of hand-painted stencils, spikes, grommets, and raw typography. If a design feels heavy, anti-establishment, or beautifully sarcastic, it was pulled directly from the shadows of my studio.

Then, there is Spook Candy, my music project. It's a landscape of bass-heavy darkwave melodies, late-night synth experiments, and low-frequency audio cut straight from depths of my gothic little soul.

Under Musings and Sh!t, I leave my poetry out in the open, drop fragmented thoughts and vent about the beautiful chaos of the creative process and life experiences.

This is an independent digital zine, a living record of a lifelong obsession, and an invitation to step into the shadows.
